Life has been chaos lately. From the last time I wrote on my site three years ago, I have undergone a personal transformation. Eventually, I will write about that, but for now, I’d like to begin a running list of activities that make me happy and have minimal costs associated with them. I have been under a lot of stress, and having a reference to help me out when I am feeling overwhelmed would be great for me to look to when I need to find ways to relax.
- Read a book. Actually, I should make another list of books I have not read but would like to.
- Watch a movie. Same as above.
- Play my Game Boy Advance or retro NES/SNES games. Maybe one day venture out and try the N64 😀
- Find a friend and play a board game.
- Bake cookies.
- Practice my buttercream piping skills.
- Compile my recipes into my very own cookbook.
- Watch an art or nature documentary.
- Journaling/blogging.
- Play Pokemon Go!
- At-home spa: hot bath, manicure/pedicure, face mask.
- Call my mom for a chat.
- Learn how to use my airbrush so I can make a Northern Lights cake.
- Work on my paper succulent wreath.
- Relearn the French language.
- Go for a run/walk.
- Yoga.
- Practice pole dancing.
- Learn how to make a new gum paste flower.
- Browse Pinterest for recipes/projects.
- Text with a friend.
- Watch a sporting event (currently watching baseball playoffs–not too exciting this year though).
I’ll be adding to the list, but these popped up right away as ideas. I hope to expand the list. If you are reading this and have a suggestion, I’d love to hear it.
