Life has been chaos lately. From the last time I wrote on my site three years ago, I have undergone a personal transformation. Eventually, I will write about that, but for now, I’d like to begin a running list of activities that make me happy and have minimal costs associated with them. I have been under a lot of stress, and having a reference to help me out when I am feeling overwhelmed would be great for me to look to when I need to find ways to relax.
Read a book. Actually, I should make another list of books I have not read but would like to.
Watch a movie. Same as above.
Play my Game Boy Advance or retro NES/SNES games. Maybe one day venture out and try the N64 😀
Find a friend and play a board game.
Practice my buttercream piping skills.
Compile my recipes into my very own cookbook.
Watch an art or nature documentary.
Play Pokemon Go!
At-home spa: hot bath, manicure/pedicure, face mask.
Call my mom for a chat.
Learn how to use my airbrush so I can make a Northern Lights cake.
Work on my paper succulent wreath.
Relearn the French language.
Go for a run/walk.
Practice pole dancing.
Learn how to make a new gum paste flower.
Browse Pinterest for recipes/projects.
Text with a friend.
Watch a sporting event (currently watching baseball playoffs–not too exciting this year though).
I’ll be adding to the list, but these popped up right away as ideas. I hope to expand the list. If you are reading this and have a suggestion, I’d love to hear it.

As most of us have some sort of bucket list of what we wish to do or accomplish before death. I only have a few things on mine, which I’m sure I’ll babble on about in another post at some … Continue reading →
One entire day–doing whatever I want, completely funded, no matter the cost? Oh. Yes. Please. The day would start early in the morning with me having a group of workmen come and remodel parts of my condo–specifically, re-tile my bathroom. … Continue reading →

One of my little nuances with the change of seasons is to tidy. When the leaves change color and lazily drift to the fading green grass and the days get shorter, the urge comes to fix up my nest for … Continue reading →
I can’t say for sure the longest I’ve ever gone without reading a book. I know that–for a very long time–after I started my first full-time job I couldn’t sit and read. It was probably for a few months. My … Continue reading →
It seems as if Thursday is going to be dedicated to 10 minutes of freewrite on The Daily Prompt. Which is actually pretty cool to me. I love freewrite. I just go and put my thoughts on the page with … Continue reading →
